Committed to life-long learning and deepening of our faith, Immaculate Conception Maplewood strives to identify, promote and provide quality spiritual development opportunities for its parishioners. Our calendar will provide the most up-to-date details for event details. Offerings adapt to the needs and desires of our community members.

GROW IN FAITH

LIFE FAITH GROUPS

These small groups of individuals and families within our parish are formed from a commitment to develop connections with others in our faith community. The goals are to connect faith with everyday life, improve spiritual health, and create a vibrant community. Groups make their own decisions about the best way and how often they want to meet. Learn more by contacting Teresa Lunte - 314-645-4622.

MEN'S RETREAT

The White House is a Jesuit retreat house offering retreats based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. There are conferences and the celebration of daily Mass. The Sacraments of Reconciliation and Anointing of the Sick are offered. Also, Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament takes place each evening. The men’s retreat for Immaculate Conception is in April. It begins on a Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. with dinner and ends with lunch on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

WOMEN'S RETREAT

King’s House in Illinois offers retreats for women. It is staffed by the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. If you are interested, contact Carol Haislip at 314-645-3307.

PARISH SCHOOL OF RELIGION

The PSR program aims to achieve the goals of preparing children attending public school for sacrament reception and deepening and reinforcing knowledge of their faith and values for living. While Immaculate Conception has had a long history of operating a weekly PSR program, we have recently discontinued this offering to meet the changing needs of our community. We encourage parish families to explore other local options such the program offered at St. Mary Magdalene in Brentwood.
